Who provides the service

BoxCheck is the brand name of this service. It is provided by an individual, Volodymyr Kushnir (the “Seller”). The Seller is not a registered company. BoxCheck is a product brand, not a legal entity.

What BoxCheck is

BoxCheck is a web-based utility service for print and packaging work. Its main tool is a PDF preflight checker: you upload a file and the service reports possible print-preparation issues (bleed, safe zone, colors, resolution, fonts and similar).

The site also offers small free tools: a TAC calculator, a QR code generator and a barcode generator.

Using the service

The PDF checker and the tools are available without an account. You may only upload files you have the right, or permission, to process.

You must not:

• upload unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others;
• disrupt the service, bypass request-rate limits or generate excessive automated load.

Automated results

Check results are automated and informational. They depend on the print profile you select and do not guarantee the outcome of printing or production. Before running a job, confirm your file against your printer's or manufacturer's requirements. See the methodology page for details.

Your files

You keep all rights to your files. We process them only to produce the check result. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Manual layout fix (on request)

On the “We'll fix your layout” page you can submit a request for a manual layout fix. This is not an automated feature, not an online checkout and does not go through Paddle: we contact you, agree on the scope and price, and only then do you send the file. Indicative prices are shown on the request page.

Paid tools and Paddle

BoxCheck currently has no paid tools that can be bought online, and online payment is not live. If paid tools are introduced, their prices and terms will be shown on the Pricing page and at checkout before you pay, and these terms and the Refund Policy will be updated.

We plan to sell future paid tools through Paddle.com, an online reseller and Merchant of Record. This checkout is not live yet. Once it is live, the following will apply to orders placed through it:

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle's buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) also apply to such purchases.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available: features may change, be limited or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is”, and BoxCheck is not responsible for printing or production costs arising from reliance on automated results. These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
