Run Time Calculator
How long a run takes and the press output: from the run length, the printing speed and the web width. Make-ready time can be added.
0 m0,0 min
bar: the run from start to finish
Printing time
83.3 min
1 h 23 min
Run area
3 300 m²
Output
2 376
m²/h
How it is calculated
Printing time = length ÷ speed (meters per minute). Area = width × length. Output = width × speed × 60 (m² per hour).
Make-ready, if you give it, is added to the run time.
minutes = length / speed area = width · length m²/h = width · speed · 60
Worked example
10,000 m at 120 m/min: 10,000 ÷ 120 = 83.3 min (1 h 23 min).
Width 0.33 m: area = 0.33 × 10,000 = 3300 m², output = 0.33 × 120 × 60 = 2376 m²/h.
An estimate: a constant speed, without stops, reel changes and re-settings.
